Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Esencia Tierras de Maitino has won the gold medal.
The 20th Ecotrama International Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition was recently held. This competition rewards the quality of each of the oils from organic cultivation and recognises the best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
At Almazara Maitino we are in luck, our Organic EVOO Esencia Tierras de Maitino has won the gold medal with a score of between 80 and 90 points.
We have focused on the origin of the land to achieve a healthy, natural, quality and totally organic oil. A single variety Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a unique flavour and colour.
A delicate oil with a bright green tone and intense herbaceous aromas. Its tomato and almond tree fragrances stand out, contrasted with an intense flavour with bitter and spicy touches on the palate.
Produced with olives grown in a privileged environment in a beautiful mountain range in Albacete, with an area of more than 650 hectares to produce an oil with unique characteristics that provide flavour and personality.
Each of the processes used to obtain this extraordinary and unique product are carried out respecting the environment, without using chemical products in the whole process.
